The bear hill farm story

Since 2000, I've been growing produce for my family and community. Not only have I provided my own family with fresh fruits and vegetables, but I've also preserved the surplus by canning and freezing. Along the way, I even had a small farmstand where I sold the excess produce to the local community. To enhance my farming knowledge, I took various classes through UNH, including an Agricultural Management course in 2010.

However, when I started experiencing chronic sciatica, I turned to natural solutions since my body could not tolerate most prescription remedies.  After trying out CBD products for my pain, I realized that the quality available on the market varied greatly. That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands and produce my own CBD tinctures and salves. In October 2020, I obtained my USDA Hemp Producer License, and throughout 2021, I dedicated my time to researching and sourcing the best seeds and production equipment. I also conducted 

extensive research on CBD and discovered its immense potential as a viable business opportunity.

According to Business News Daily, CBD, a compound found in hemp and cannabis plants, is gaining popularity as a dietary supplement. In fact, the CBD market is projected to reach a staggering $20 billion in sales by 2024. This information further fueled my passion and commitment to cultivating and producing a product that offers numerous therapeutic and health benefits. 

In 2022 I grew and harvested my first hemp crop of 40 plants. I did not realize how big they would get, lol. I decided to only use the flowers of the plant in my products, because they are packed with terpenes, Phyto cannabinoids and other vital elements.

I purchased equipment that allows me to make small batches using all organic ingredients. I initially offered my products to friends and family on Facebook. I experimented with the formula until I came up with some high strength tinctures and salve that by testimony of my customers has tremendous health benefits. It has been overwhelmingly touching to hear what my products have done for my friends and family. I have also been pain free and able to live my life and do the activities that I love because of my own products after suffering for 10+years of sciatic nerve pain.
